About The Position
KIA North, an International Cars, Ltd., Inc. company, is seeking a full-time Hourly Service Technician. The technician inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains vehicles to help ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role includes troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, and completing repairs to industry standards. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, a customer focus, and a friendly attitude.
- Flexible schedule to cover store hours.
- Valid driver's license.
- Motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements.

- Routine automotive service experience is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on work orders in accordance with company standards.
- Exceed manufacturer national, zone, and district averages for customer satisfaction and work quality.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Immediately notify the service advisor if additional work is needed, outlined work is unnecessary, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine whether additional safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
- Road-test vehicles when required.
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems and performing routine maintenance.
