About The Position

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking an F&I Manager for Stew Hansen Hyundai. The role provides customers with exceptional service and appropriate financing and insurance options to finalize vehicle purchases. The F&I Manager builds and maintains positive relationships with lending sources to expand the financing options available to customers while working in accordance with the company’s core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dealership F&I department, selling financial services, or auto sales.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to provide references upon request.
• Friendly and cooperative, with the ability to connect quickly with customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to deal creatively, logically, and empathetically with customers and coworkers.
• Detail-oriented, with a preference for high quality and technical expertise.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat every customer in a friendly, professional manner, regardless of financing or purchasing decisions or credit ability.
• Manage reserve income, F&I product penetration and income, and per-vehicle retail (PVR) averages in accordance with company standards.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting with the sales department and use the forecast to establish and meet monthly objectives.
• Submit finance deal paperwork to finance sources and obtain approval; complete the paperwork for each deal promptly and submit it to the accounting office.
• Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in transactions.
• Assist the dealership in managing deals and cash flow in accordance with company Contracts-In-Transit (CIT) guidelines.
• Provide appropriate financing and insurance options to customers and maintain positive working relationships with lending sources.
