About The Position
Vaden Automotive is seeking an experienced Express Technician to join its busy service department. The role involves routine maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, brakes, fluid flushes, alignments, tire rotations, and inspections. The technician will work as part of a professional service team, apply existing skills, and continue developing their automotive career.
Requirements
- Automotive repair experience: 1 year (required).
- Hands-on experience with brakes, flushes, alignments, oil changes, and general maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Professional and team-oriented.
- Willingness to continue learning and developing skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership employment requirements.
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred.
- Dealership experience: 1 year (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine preventative maintenance.
- Complete tire rotations and multi-point inspections.
- Perform brake inspections and brake repairs.
- Perform fluid flushes and scheduled maintenance services.
- Perform wheel alignments.
- Identify basic vehicle concerns and communicate findings to the service advisor.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to keep the service department operating efficiently.
