About The Position

The Automotive Express Technician performs lube, oil, filter, and multipoint inspection services for customer vehicles, assesses supplemental vehicle needs, and provides prompt, accurate service and communication. The role supports productivity, customer satisfaction, cost control, and efficient business operations while maintaining vehicle quality and a clean, safe work environment. The technician is expected to uphold dealership standards, act with integrity and professionalism, support coworkers’ success, and follow applicable OSHA, EPA, company, and legal requirements. This position also requires safely operating equipment and moving vehicles. Duties may change to meet business and organizational needs.

Requirements

One year of experience as a technician’s assistant or apprentice.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and an MVR that meets company policy requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to perform the described physical activities, including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, handling tools or controls, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Ability to operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
Demonstrated leadership, compliance, customer service, ethics and integrity, oral communication, planning and organization, quality, dependability, and safety awareness.

Local state inspection license.

Responsibilities

Perform lube, oil, filter, and multipoint inspection services and assess supplemental vehicle needs.
Perform quality service, ensure accurate diagnoses, and notify management of substandard processes, parts, or procedures.
Maintain clean vehicles during servicing and repairs.
Provide prompt, accurate service and communication to achieve customer satisfaction.
Support maximum productivity, customer service, cost control, and improvements to business efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow OSHA and EPA requirements.
Act with integrity, ethical conduct, a positive attitude, and professionalism; set a positive example for coworkers.
Support the success of other employees and contribute to an effective team.
Follow company standards, applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and product pricing guidelines.
