About The Position

Bud Clary Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Express Technician to perform vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately while following dealership and factory standards. The role involves routine maintenance and inspections, documenting completed work, collaborating with service advisors and the parts department, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shop. The position is located at Longview Ford/Hyundai in Washington State and pays $17.13–$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, oil changes, transmission flushes, fuel injections, and other vehicle maintenance according to dealership and factory standards.
• Conduct lubrication services and safety inspections.
• Maintain records on regular customers to support personalized service and satisfaction.
• Drain and refill crankcase oil and replace oil and air filters as needed.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish fluids as needed.
• Check and adjust tire pressure.
• Apply specified lubricants to moving parts.
• Work with the parts department to obtain parts needed for repairs.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
• Participate in manufacturer technical bulletins to stay informed about advancements.
• Keep customers’ vehicles clean and promptly notify the service advisor of changes in appearance or condition.
• Keep the shop clean and organized.
• Handle dealership-owned tools and manuals properly and return them in the condition received.
• Comply with hazardous-waste disposal requirements, OSHA Right-to-Know, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and report safety issues to management immediately.
