About The Position

Fenix Parts is seeking an Automotive Dismantler to safely and efficiently dismantle vehicles and remove valuable components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain parts. The role helps ensure that recovered parts are properly tested, labeled, and ready for customers and partners, while supporting the company’s automotive recycling and sustainability efforts. The position offers a Monday-to-Friday day shift and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience, including removing engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axles, and other drivetrain components from vehicles.
• Tag and label parts accurately and ensure components meet quality standards.
• Test engines and electrical components.
• Properly drain and store fluids.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and complete required documentation.
