About The Position

The Automotive Dismantler removes high-quality automotive parts and usable core parts from vehicles safely, efficiently, and properly. The role involves dismantling vehicles within suggested time constraints, checking parts for quality and product type, and labeling and tagging parts for stock. The employee must own and maintain the tools necessary to perform the work. This position does not supervise employees and may include other duties as assigned. The stated pay rate is $21 per hour.

Requirements

• Hands-on automotive repair experience.
• May be required to provide a personal set of tools as needed for the duties.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and supervisor or manager guidance and priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces and awkward positions, including underneath vehicles.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
