About The Position

The Dismantler is responsible for properly removing high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. The role involves dismantling vehicles within suggested time constraints, labeling and tagging parts for stock, and checking the quality and product type of parts. The employee must own and maintain the tools necessary to perform the work. This position does not supervise employees and may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Hands-on automotive repair experience.
• May be required to have an own set of tools as needed to carry out duties.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions, procedures, and standard procedures, using guidance from a supervisor or manager.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
