About The Position

The Dismantler properly removes high-quality automotive parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. The role dismantles vehicles within suggested time constraints, labels and tags parts for stock, and checks part quality and product type. The employee must own and maintain all tools necessary for the work and may be assigned other duties. The position does not supervise employees.

Requirements

• Hands-on automotive repair experience.
• May be required to have a personal set of tools as needed to carry out duties.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions and procedures for routine, repetitive problems.
• Follow standard procedures and guidance from a supervisor or manager, with assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

• High school diploma or GED.
