About The Position

Fenix Parts is hiring an Automotive Dismantler to remove, test, and assess vehicle components for resale. The role focuses on safely and efficiently extracting valuable parts—including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components—and ensuring their quality and functionality. The position also involves managing automotive fluids responsibly, maintaining an orderly workspace, and completing required documentation. The schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience, including removal of engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove drivetrain components, including engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axles, and other parts.
• Tag and label parts accurately and ensure components meet quality standards.
• Test engines and electrical components.
• Drain and store fluids properly in accordance with environmental responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete necessary documentation.
