About The Position

Fenix Parts is hiring an Automotive Dismantler to remove and evaluate reusable vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain parts. The role supports the company’s automotive recycling and resale operations by helping ensure parts are extracted safely, tested, accurately identified, and handled to quality standards. The position includes managing fluids responsibly, maintaining an orderly workspace, and completing required documentation. The schedule is a stable day shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience, including removing engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axles, and other drivetrain components from vehicles.
• Tag and label parts accurately and ensure components meet quality standards.
• Test and evaluate engines and electrical components.
• Drain and store fluids properly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete necessary documentation.
