Tuttle‑Click CJDR in Irvine is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to support repairs and diagnostics on diesel‑powered vehicles in a well‑equipped, team‑oriented shop environment. This position is ideal for technicians who specialize in diesel engines and want long‑term stability with a respected California dealer group.
Requirements
- Diesel technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with diesel systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, production‑oriented environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Ram or other diesel platforms preferred
- ASE diesel certifications are preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions systems
- Perform advanced diagnostics on drivability and performance concerns
- Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information
- Accurately document diagnostic findings and repairs performed
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure clear repair explanations
- Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Participate in ongoing technical training as assigned
