About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring an experienced Ford Automotive Diesel Technician / Auto Service Repair Technician for a full-time role at Milford Ford. The position offers a five-day work week with Sundays off, competitive pay plans with bonus potential, steady workflow, ongoing technical training, and opportunities for advancement. The technician will diagnose, repair, inspect, maintain, and test diesel and automotive systems; complete repair orders; communicate with Service Advisors; and keep the work area safe and organized. The role requires automotive diesel repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a full set of tools. Ford ASE certifications are strongly preferred. Hertrich is a family-owned dealership group that has served the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond for three generations. It operates 24 dealerships, 15 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands, and supports more than 90 local organizations and charities. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and emissions.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
