About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring an experienced Ford Automotive Diesel Technician to join its busy, family-owned operation at Milford Ford. The role offers a five-day work week with Sundays off, consistent work, competitive pay plans with bonus potential, and opportunities for ongoing technical training and advancement. Requirements
- Automotive diesel repair experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Full set of tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Ford ASE certifications are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and emissions systems.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
