About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician / Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves performing advanced vehicle diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections. You will utilize a variety of diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve vehicle issues, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance. Requirements

Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, Automobile Servicing, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of technical training and automotive repair experience.
3+ years of automotive repair and diagnostics experience preferred.
Experience in dealership, independent repair, or fleet maintenance environments.
Proven diagnostic experience on modern vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
Advanced vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Utilize scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to identify and test vehicle failures.
Perform root-cause analysis and develop effective test procedures.
Replace components as needed to demonstrate faults.
Diagnose and repair electrical failures, wiring concerns, and module communication issues.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
Perform preventive maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations and replacements, vehicle inspections, fluid services, brake maintenance, and scheduled manufacturer maintenance.
Conduct comprehensive safety and mechanical inspections.
Identify issues that may impact vehicle safety, reliability, performance, or regulatory compliance.
Recommend corrective actions and maintenance services.
Clearly document diagnostic findings and procedure details.
Collaborate with engineers, management, and customers to execute projects and deliver results.
Work effectively in a team environment.
