About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The role is located at 401 N. Washington Street, Junction City, KS 66441, pays $13.25 per hour, and follows a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with weekends off. The position also involves checking vehicle condition and safety, fueling and staging vehicles, keeping the branch and work area clean, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting or transporting customers when needed. Enterprise Mobility is a provider of mobility and transportation services operating rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, and related businesses.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and, potentially, transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
