About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, following high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 5273 Highway 70 W, Morehead City, NC 28557, and pays a starting rate of $15.50 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is a rotating weekly schedule with shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; the employee works some Saturdays or Thursdays, with Sundays off. Enterprise Mobility is a privately held provider of mobility solutions operating Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car, among other services. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers as needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
