About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer at its Bay City, Michigan location. The position pays $16.50 per hour and follows a consistent 40-hour-per-week schedule, with weekends as needed depending on business needs. The role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. The employee may also assist customers and transport them to and from branches.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and transport customers to and from branches as needed.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning interiors and exteriors.
Clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; remove trash; vacuum and sweep the lot; and perform other daily branch-cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
