About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role emphasizes exceptional cleaning practices and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 1831 Weeksville Rd, Elizabeth City, NC 27909, and pays $15.50 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is Sunday off; Monday 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Tuesday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM; Wednesday off; Thursday 12:00 PM–6:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM; and Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. The role may involve assisting customers and transporting them to and from branches. It also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch and surrounding site.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related convictions on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
