About The Position

The Automotive Detailer cleans the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles for the lot and/or customer delivery. The role involves washing vehicles, cleaning engines, buffing or polishing paint, and using special-purpose cleaners to remove materials that standard cleaning procedures do not remove. The Detailer completes required training, including OSHA right-to-know training, follows company policies and procedures, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least one year of automotive detailing experience.
Ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
Good work ethic, organization, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a polishing wheel.
One or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicles using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
Clean engines to remove grease and other materials.
Buff or polish paint as necessary.
Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that normal cleaning procedures do not remove, following the product manufacturer's recommendations.
Complete training as directed by the supervisor.
Complete OSHA right-to-know training.
Follow policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
