About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its San Jose Airport rental car facility. The role pays $21.95 per hour and involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, fueling, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. Detailers follow the company's Complete Clean Pledge standards and help ensure vehicles meet cleanliness and safety expectations. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch, assisting customers when needed, and potentially transporting customers to and from branches. The position is located at 1659 Airport Blvd Ste 8, San Jose, CA 95110. The listed schedules are afternoon/evening shifts, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with two consecutive days off. One schedule has Wednesday and Thursday off; the other has Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.
Must have a California driver's license.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize vehicle interiors according to Complete Clean Pledge standards.
Vacuum and prepare vehicle interiors according to Complete Clean Pledge standards.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Wear proper personal protective equipment and ensure cleaning, detailing, washing, and sanitization supplies are available.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors.
Clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; empty trash; vacuum and sweep the lot; and perform other daily branch-cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
