About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at Syracuse International Airport in Syracuse, New York. The position pays $18.25 per hour and follows a consistent 40-hour-per-week schedule. The Automotive Detailer cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards before customer rentals. The role also includes maintaining branch cleanliness, assisting customers, and, when needed, transporting customers to and from branches. Available schedules are Thursday–Monday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; Thursday–Monday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; or Friday–Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Requirements

Have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work-authorization sponsorship from the company.
Have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry the exteriors of cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers and, when needed, transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of branch locations, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and lots.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
