About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer at its Oakland Airport location. The role is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. It is a union position with a consistent 40-hour workweek. Shifts are determined by a shift bid, and employees must be able to work any five-day shift, morning or evening, Sunday through Saturday. The starting pay rate is $19 per hour. A valid California driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and possibly transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming and sweeping the lot; and completing other daily cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
