About The Position
Tuttle-Click Capistrano Ford is looking for a dependable Automotive Detailer to support our sales and service operations by ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is ideal for someone who understands that a vehicle’s presentation matters, enjoys working hands-on, values quality over shortcuts, and wants a stable role with room to grow. You will be responsible for washing, waxing, polishing, and detailing new, used, and customer vehicles, as well as cleaning vehicle interiors. The position requires performing final inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership quality standards and maintaining the cleanliness of detailing bays, equipment, and lot areas. You will safely operate detailing tools and equipment, follow all dealership procedures and safety guidelines, and work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
Requirements
- Previous detailing or automotive experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, polish, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles
- Clean vehicle interiors including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and treating upholstery
- Perform final inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership quality standards
