About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Monterey Airport rental car facility in Monterey, California. The position pays $19 per hour and requires a California driver license. The Automotive Detailer washes, cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, supporting the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch and assisting customers as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a California driver license.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Maintain the appearance of the site, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; emptying trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
