About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Monterey Airport rental car facility in Monterey, California. The position pays $19 per hour and requires a California driver license. The detailer cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The role also includes maintaining the branch’s appearance, assisting customers, and potentially transporting customers to and from branches. Enterprise Mobility is a mobility solutions provider that operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands. It and its affiliates offer car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, travel management, and other transportation services. The company and Enterprise Fleet Management manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a California driver license.
Must maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
