About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Mobile, Alabama airport location. The role is responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. Detailers also help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the branch, assist customers when needed, and may transport customers to and from branches. The starting pay is $16 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The available schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Requirements

Have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Have no more than one excessive speeding violation—defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit—on the driving record within the last three years.
Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
Have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuable items in Lost & Found; and verify registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from preparation processing when necessary.
Maintain an orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including branch interiors and exteriors.
Clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; empty trash; vacuum and sweep the lot; and perform other daily branch-cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
