About The Position

Fox Motors is hiring a part-time Porter at Fox Buick GMC in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Porter supports the sales and service teams by cleaning and refurbishing vehicles according to Fox Motors and manufacturer specifications, preparing vehicles for dealership or customer delivery, and helping maintain the presentation of vehicles and the dealership. Fox Motors seeks a busy, active team player who wants to contribute positively to the company and its customers. Requirements

Responsibilities

Wash and wax vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and/or cleaning agents.
Apply dressing to tires and tire wells.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
Remove window stickers from sold vehicles.
Ensure the Fox emblem is properly positioned on every vehicle.
Support the sales and service teams and help maintain vehicle and dealership presentation.
