Requirements

  • Proven success as an Automotive Parts Manager in a dealership environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and parts operations
  • Demonstrated ability to increase profitability and department performance
  • Experience managing inventory turns, obsolescence, and purchasing strategies
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of dealership parts department operations
  • Maximize parts sales, gross profit, and departmental performance
  • Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Monitor inventory turns, obsolescence, and stocking strategies
  • Lead, coach, and develop parts department staff
  • Build strong relationships with service technicians and wholesale customers
  • Analyze department reports and implement performance improvements
  • Ensure accurate ordering, receiving, and inventory control procedures
  • Maintain manufacturer compliance and dealership standards
  • Drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
