About The Position
Glockner’s is seeking Automotive Mechanics at all experience levels, from entry-level to experienced technicians. The role performs vehicle maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards, diagnoses vehicle-system problems, and confirms completed repairs through road tests. Technicians also communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines to service advisors and perform other duties based on their experience level.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of automotive repair experience.
- Valid, clean driver's license.
- Complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Mechanical skills.
- Customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete vehicle maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose problems involving vehicle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC systems.
- Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs have been completed successfully.
- Perform routine maintenance as needed, including fluid-level checks, tire rotations, brake-pad replacement, and oil changes.
- Communicate diagnosed problems, necessary repairs, and timelines to service advisors.
- Perform other duties assigned based on level of experience.
