About The Position

Pacifico Auto Group is looking for a full-time Billing Clerk to join our accounting office. We are seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to learn quickly in a busy automotive dealership environment. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of a fast-paced dealership accounting team and who takes pride in doing accurate, detailed work.

Requirements

  • Prior automotive dealership experience is required.
  • Must understand dealership paperwork, billing processes, and general automotive office flow.
  • A minimum of two years of accounting experience is required.
  • Experience may include bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, data entry, reconciliation, or other accounting- related work.
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to keep paperwork, notes, and assignments in order.
  • Must be able to follow processes from start to finish.
  • Must be able to review documents carefully for accuracy.
  • Must be able to catch errors, missing information, and inconsistencies.
  • Must be a quick learner.
  • Must be able to take direction, ask appropriate questions, and apply training.
  • Must be comfortable learning dealership procedures and accounting office processes.
  • Must be willing to take clear notes during training.
  • Must be able to refer back to notes and follow written instructions.
  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
  • Must be comfortable with data entry, filing, scanning, email, and general office duties.
  • Must be professional, dependable, and able to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • CDK knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • We are willing to train the right candidate who has the required automotive and accounting background.

Responsibilities

  • Processing vehicle billing paperwork
  • Reviewing deals for accuracy and completeness
  • Entering information into the dealership system
  • Working with accounting schedules and reports
  • Filing, scanning, and organizing documents
  • Communicating with sales, finance, and accounting staff
  • Following up on missing or incorrect paperwork
  • Assisting with other accounting office duties as needed
