This role involves managing inbound and outbound communications, scheduling appointments for sales and service, and providing feedback to sales management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in phone-based customer service or telemarketing, preferably in automotive, business development, or customer service.
  • Comfortable using scripts and word tracks to interact effectively with customers.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor during first customer contact.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales management and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Word preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to all incoming internet inquiries via phone calls, emails, and texts using established scripts.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule sales and service appointments.
  • Accurately log customer comments and update customer information in the system.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed, including follow-ups on no-shows.
  • Coordinate with sales and service departments to monitor appointment outcomes.
  • Generate and send letters, postcards, and emails to maintain ongoing customer contact according to company schedules.
  • Utilize marketing initiatives to engage customers and respond to website inquiries.
  • Assist with additional duties to support business needs as assigned.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly appointment scheduling targets.
