About The Position

INFINITI of Albuquerque is seeking a motivated, dependable Automotive Apprentice Technician to join its service team. This entry-level opportunity is intended for someone interested in beginning a long-term career in automotive service and who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and developing as a technician. The role offers hands-on training and mentorship from experienced technicians, along with opportunities to develop diagnostic and repair skills and advance in the automotive field. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. The employer offers three weeks of paid time off after one year of employment and describes a supportive team environment. Requirements

A strong desire to learn and build a career as an automotive technician.
Mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive or technical school experience is a plus but is not required.
A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
Learn to diagnose and repair automotive concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.
Properly use and maintain tools and shop equipment.
Complete assigned training and continue developing technical skills.
