About The Position
The Automation Test Engineer will work in AWS-based environments and apply test automation expertise to conduct end-to-end testing across UI, API, database, and cloud layers. The role involves developing automated test scripts, building an automation framework from scratch, conducting performance testing in cloud environments, and supporting test case design, execution, and maintenance. The engineer will work with AWS services and automation tools, and contribute to testing microservices and CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, KeySpaces, EMR, and Batch Jobs.
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Postman, and RestAssured.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with GitLab, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience testing microservices architectures.
- Ability to perform end-to-end testing across UI, API, database, and cloud layers.
- Experience developing automated test scripts.
- Ability to design and build an automation framework from scratch.
- Experience conducting performance testing in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and maintenance.
- Experience with regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of test data management and test environment setup.
- Familiarity with API contract testing, database validation, and authentication/authorization testing.
- Strong documentation, defect tracking, and communication skills.
- US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
