About The Position
Automation Technician II Location: Onsite- Sheridan, AR Competitive Compensation: Starting at $24.25 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts. Requirements
- Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
- Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift over 40 pounds over shoulders.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds to waist level with aids (hoist).
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Consistent attendance and work performance.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Robotics and PLC controllers.
- Knowledge of Auto-Cad and Inventor Software.
- SAP knowledge is preferred – pick tickets, labels, etc.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within the facility to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.
- Perform routine checks on automated systems, monitor systems, and isolate problems and perform repair.
- Determine if problem is electrical or mechanical from the computer system controlling the processor or schematics associated with equipment.
- Repair or replace any necessary components, such as sensors, cabling, valves, motors, or electrical wiring.
- Troubleshoot and correct problems by making mechanical adjustments and/or guiding others in those corrections.
- Maintain, modify, and update drawings using Auto-Cad and Inventor Software when changes are made within the Automation systems.
- Train operators when changes are made within the Automaton systems.
- Review and understand programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.
