About the position
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an exceptional candidate for an Automation engineering position supporting semiconductor factory automation. The candidate will be responsible for leading the project management of new equipment installation and ensuring fully automated OHT delivery to Semicon. They will also provide engineering support and utilize simulation methods to determine the capital equipment needed for the role.

Requirements
- Exceptional candidate for an Automation engineering position supporting semiconductor factory automation
- Engineering support for leading the project management of new equipment installation
- Design conception and equipment qualification
- Static and Dynamic simulation methods for determining capital equipment needs
- Maintaining fully automated OHT delivery to Semiconductor process tools and material storage locations
- Conceptual design of new factory automation equipment additions
- Leading system design reviews with vendors
- Coordinating installation of designed system with vendors and contractors
- Performing QA/QC of incoming equipment prior to acceptance
- Coordinating shipping, receiving, storage, and staging logistics for installation projects
- Providing 24X7 support for installation projects
- Shift: 1st shift (& 7 days within a month on-call support is required)
