About The Position

Bosch is seeking a curious, hands-on Automation Experience Designer to apply automation and AI tools to business challenges. The role involves exploring and using modern digital tools to design better processes and help others adopt them confidently. It is described as a good opportunity for early-career talent who enjoys building, experimenting, and teaching others how to work more efficiently. The designer will analyze workflows, identify where automation or AI can add value, and assess when a human-centered approach is more appropriate. They will develop solutions using RPA and AI tools, ensure those solutions are intuitive and aligned with users’ work, and help teams build their automation capabilities through demonstrations, training, and learning materials. The role also contributes to project planning, timelines, coordination, and cross-functional implementation and scaling.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in process improvement, automation, digital transformation, business analysis, or applying AI and automation tools in a professional, internship, or co-op environment.
Hands-on experience using automation and/or AI tools.
Ability to apply AI tools to solve real problems, not just experiment with them.
Confidence explaining and demonstrating tools to others clearly and engagingly.
Understanding of process mapping and workflow improvement.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
A user-first mindset and natural curiosity for improving how work gets done.
Indefinite U.S. work authorization; future work authorization sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power Automate, UiPath, or similar RPA platforms.
Familiarity with prompt design or effective use of generative AI in workflows.
Exposure to project management concepts or tools.

Responsibilities

Map current processes and identify opportunities where automation or AI can add value.
Evaluate when to use automation and when a human-centered approach is more appropriate.
Design and develop solutions using RPA and AI tools.
Select appropriate tools for business problems and apply them to streamline work.
Ensure automation solutions are intuitive, usable, and aligned with how people work.
Apply human-centered design principles when creating and refining solutions.
Demonstrate practical, business-relevant uses of automation and AI tools.
Lead virtual and in-person training sessions and create clear, simple learning materials.
Support teams in adopting new tools and building their automation capabilities.
Contribute to project planning, timelines, and coordination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and scale solutions.
