About The Position

Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. This role requires specialized expertise in technical processes or procedures. The individual will complete assignments and facilitate the work activities of others, potentially coordinating work beyond their immediate area. They may act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members but will not be a supervisor. The role involves working autonomously within established procedures and practices, proposing improvements to processes and methods as needed. Additionally, the role may involve leading training for employees and performing manual tasks according to established procedures.

Requirements

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components.
Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations.
Conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation.
Prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
Investigates and troubleshoots defects or bugs.
Completes repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
Leading training for employees.
Performing manual tasks according to established procedures.
