About The Position

The Automatic Die Attach Operator works in production with automatic die-attach equipment. The role involves setting up and operating automatic epoxy-dispensing die-attach machines, following micro-circuit layout drawings, production schedules, manufacturing procedures, process plans, and written or oral instructions. The operator is responsible for proper conductive epoxy dispensing and die placement and must maintain detailed production activities and documentation in compliance with Mil Standard 883 requirements. The position also requires flexibility to be trained in multiple microelectronics processes involving die attaching.

The work takes place in a clean-room environment, with smocks and gloves. Candidates must be U.S. Persons under ITAR regulations. Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a microelectronics module assembly area.
• Ability to set up, operate, and adjust Datacon 2200 equipment, or ability to learn to operate a variety of microelectronic production equipment.
• Knowledge of conductive epoxy die attaching to a variety of dice and substrates.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined for ITAR purposes: a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum or refugee status.

Responsibilities

• Work under direction and follow production schedules, manufacturing procedures, process plans, and written or oral instructions.
• Set up and operate automatic epoxy-dispensing die-attach machines (Datacon 2200 systems) according to micro-circuit layout drawings.
• Use microcircuit layout drawings to ensure proper conductive epoxy dispensing and die placement.
• Be willing to train in multiple microelectronics processes involving die attaching.
• Perform production activities and documentation with attention to detail to maintain compliance with Mil Standard 883 requirements.
