About The Position

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an automated systems and mechatronics, electrical/mechanic systems or fluid power program.
  • Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automated systems and mechatronics, electrical/mechanic, or fluid power.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field (waived if two years of successful postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years).
  • Course construction (credit course)
  • Teaching/instructional methods (credit course)
  • Student outcomes assessment/evaluation (credit course)
  • Philosophy of community and technical college education (credit or non-credit course)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Programming Robots and Cobots, including FANUC Robots and Universal Robotics
  • Experience with VFDs and Servo motors
  • Experience in troubleshooting PLCs utilizing Allen-Bradley products
  • Experience integrating Robotic Systems, Vision Systems, VFD’s and PLC Systems
  • Experience with Electrical Schematic reading, application, and drawing
  • Experience with Packaging Machinery and/or Process controls
  • Experience in troubleshooting Mechanical and Electrical Systems
