About The Position

The Automated Operator II fulfills customer orders by retrieving and placing specified products from predetermined locations while meeting accuracy and efficiency expectations. The role manages wave sorting when products are misplaced, follows product-placement instructions on the wave sorter monitor, and monitors lane Photo Eye alignments and predetermined mechanical failures or troubleshooting needs. The position performs case picking and sorting in an automated warehouse environment using computers, software, and complex machines. The operator follows established safety policies, multitasks, and makes sound decisions in a noisy, time-sensitive setting. Work areas may include HQS, Semi-Automated Lanes, Pallet Pick, and Flow Rack. The role also supports warehouse housekeeping, maintenance, inventory control, and efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

Knowledge acquired through 1–2 years of work experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 50 pounds.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Ability to coordinate and organize efficient, dependable warehouse processes.
Ability to adapt to different work areas throughout the workday and meet their minimum expectations.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer orders by retrieving and placing assigned products from predetermined locations while meeting accuracy and efficiency expectations.
Manage the wave sorting process when product cases are misplaced and follow product-placement instructions on the wave sorter monitor.
Monitor lane Photo Eye alignments and address predetermined mechanical failures or troubleshooting needs.
Pick and sort cases in an automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines while following established safety procedures and policies.
Collaborate with a team to coordinate and organize efficient, dependable warehouse processes.
Adapt to different work areas throughout the workday, including HQS, Semi-Automated Lanes, Pallet Pick, and Flow Rack, and meet their minimum expectations.
Help maintain and clean the warehouse, keep work areas free of trash and debris, clean spills, and follow waste-removal and recycling protocols.
Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and keep shrink at an acceptable level.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient warehouse operations.
Maintain regular and timely attendance.
