About The Position

The Automated Machine Operator runs automated inspection machines for high-volume production, aiming to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. The operator inspects and sorts rubber parts to ensure they meet customer specifications. The position is available on first, second, and third shifts.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to communicate machine-operation issues clearly to a supervisor or technician.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities and meet the stated vision and hearing requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up automated inspection machines for operation.
Perform all work safely and follow safety procedures.
Understand machine functions and operations.
Recover machines using the troubleshooting guide.
Perform in-process operations, including filling machines and stopping to troubleshoot when alarms occur.
Visually inspect manufactured parts for conformance to specifications.
Communicate machine-operation issues clearly to a supervisor or technician.
Periodically clean machines and visually inspect their condition according to procedures.
Maintain general housekeeping in and around machine areas.
Keep accurate records of daily activities.
Read and understand work instructions related to production activities.
Apply a general understanding of customer requirements and drawings.
Interact with other groups to convey information effectively.
Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
