About The Position

The Machine Operator will operate automated weld line equipment using a Human Machine Interface (HMI), make adjustments as needed, and help ensure products meet specifications. The role includes inspecting welds and product appearance, using hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments, and maintaining product logs to support consistency and quality. Operators may be asked to perform other tasks assigned by a supervisor. The position is full-time at the Corporate Office in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus that can add $1 per hour worked for working their scheduled shift.

Requirements

Eagerness to learn the Human Machine Interface (HMI).
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Flexibility to rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed.
Ability to work overtime on weekends when business conditions indicate.
Ability to work well in teams.
Ability to communicate nonconforming issues urgently to the team leader or supervisor.

Nice To Haves

Prior HMI experience.
Mechanical inclination to understand equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Use the Human Machine Interface (HMI) to operate equipment and make adjustments as needed.
Measure equipment to ensure product specifications are met and product quality is maintained.
Visually inspect welds and the cosmetic appearance of products.
Use hand tools to make minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
Process product logs to support consistency and quality.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed.
Cross-train on numerous product lines.
Communicate nonconforming issues promptly to the team leader or supervisor.
