About The Position

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Autodesk Fusion CAM Experts with strong expertise in Fusion 360, CAM, CNC machining, computer-aided manufacturing, and digital fabrication to contribute to an advanced AI training and manufacturing-evaluation project. Selected professionals will evaluate manufacturing processes and workflows, review AI-generated technical content, and develop detailed evaluation rubrics focused on CAM, CNC, and Fusion 360 environments. The project is designed to apply real-world manufacturing expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI systems. No prior experience in AI is required.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in CAM and CNC machining
  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Strong understanding of digital manufacturing workflows
  • Practical experience with computer-aided manufacturing
  • Familiarity with CNC setup, machining strategy, tooling, and process planning
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes with attention to accuracy and efficiency
  • Experience developing or using process-evaluation rubrics is highly valuable
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote project environment
  • No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and machining workflows
  • Apply practical CAM and CNC expertise to technical scenarios

  • Provide expert recommendations grounded in real-world manufacturing practice

  • Evaluate CAM setups, toolpaths, and machining workflows
  • Assess whether proposed Fusion 360 processes reflect professional best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow reliability and efficiency
  • Apply practical judgement across digital-fabrication scenarios
  • Review CNC machining approaches and manufacturing recommendations
  • Evaluate process choices across different machining scenarios
  • Apply knowledge of tooling, setups, machining strategy, and manufacturing constraints
  • Identify workflow issues that could affect production quality or efficiency
  • Support realistic evaluation of computer-aided manufacturing processes
  • Review AI-generated recommendations related to manufacturing workflows
  • Assess technical accuracy, practicality, and relevance
  • Identify incorrect or incomplete manufacturing reasoning
  • Provide structured feedback supporting model improvement
  • Apply expert-level judgement to ambiguous or technically complex outputs
  • Develop detailed evaluation rubrics for manufacturing-related tasks
  • Define criteria covering technical accuracy, process efficiency, and workflow quality
  • Translate professional manufacturing judgement into repeatable evaluation standards
  • Validate rubric criteria against realistic CAM and CNC practices
  • Refine evaluation frameworks as project requirements evolve
