About The Position

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Contract Attorneys with strong expertise in technology contracts, contract drafting, redlining, negotiation, and legal review to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project. Selected professionals will perform simulated contract negotiations, review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, develop rigorous evaluation criteria, and contribute expert legal feedback to improve how advanced AI systems identify contractual risk, interpret language, and support professional contract workflows.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum 3 years of experience focused on technology contracts
  • Strong experience negotiating and reviewing MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, redlining, negotiation, and review
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical judgement
  • Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback
  • Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI

  • Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is advantageous but not required

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and analyse sophisticated commercial agreements
  • Evaluate contractual language for clarity, consistency, and legal risk
  • Identify problematic provisions, ambiguities, and negotiation points
  • Apply practical legal judgement to technology-focused contract scenarios
  • Review agreements against established legal and commercial standards
  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises
  • Develop clear and commercially appropriate revisions to contractual language
  • Evaluate alternative drafting approaches and negotiation positions
  • Identify material legal and business risks within proposed terms
  • Apply real-world negotiation judgement to MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related agreements
  • Review AI-generated responses to contract-review and negotiation scenarios
  • Assess outputs for legal accuracy, completeness, and practical usefulness
  • Identify weaknesses in contract interpretation or risk analysis
  • Provide expert feedback to improve model precision and legal judgement
  • Evaluate whether AI-generated redlines appropriately reflect contractual context
  • Create objective evaluation frameworks for contract-related AI tasks
  • Develop grading criteria and structured review standards
  • Define characteristics of high-quality contract drafting and redlining
  • Apply evaluation standards consistently across multiple model outputs
  • Help improve the reliability and rigor of legal AI assessment workflows
  • Collaborate with product, research, and technical teams
  • Translate legal expertise into clear and actionable model feedback
  • Refine project guidelines and contract-review methodologies
  • Contribute insights on best practices for AI-assisted legal workflows
  • Support iterative improvements to data, evaluation standards, and contract-review systems
