Requirements

  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, and drivability concerns
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • Desire to continue learning and advancing
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a technician (OEM or independent shop experience)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License in applicable state and a good driving record
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Candidate must have their own basic automotive tool set
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong mechanical & electrical diagnostic aptitude and willingness to learn with ongoing training

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certifications are strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Receive and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched
  • Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to determine repair needs
  • Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
  • Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, in accordance with center and factory standards
  • Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
  • Maintain an organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times
  • Communicate efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to develop expertise in industry-leading technologies and processes
