About The Position

Jim Shorkey Auto Group is expanding with a brand-new Service Center and is looking for experienced, driven, and passionate technicians to join their award-winning Kia team in Uniontown. Requirements

2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience
Valid driver’s license
Your own tools
A strong desire to succeed and grow

Nice To Haves

Certifications a plus
Kia certified is a huge plus
Experience with used vehicles
Kia or other OEM certifications are a huge bonus
ASE Certification preferred
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Team player with a customer-first mindset

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems: engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, A/C, and more.
Perform high-quality service and repairs that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations.
Stay sharp with ongoing training and the latest diagnostic tools.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
