About The Position

This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. We are seeking a skilled Auto Supplement Estimate Writer to join our Claims team. This is a fully virtual desk role with no fieldwork required. The ideal candidate is highly organized, effective at managing a claims diary, confident in negotiating with body shops, and motivated to take on new challenges while continuing to grow within the organization.

Requirements

Experience with supplemental estimating in an insurance carrier environment
Reside in the EST or CST time zones
Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
