About The Position

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area of a supplement manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for production of gummies, tinctures, topicals, pressed tablets and more. This position involves the efficient cleaning of dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to support smooth operations. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to handle repetitive tasks and maintain consistent quality. Ultimately, the Dishwasher helps uphold the establishment’s reputation for cleanliness and operational excellence through reliable and thorough work.

Requirements

  • Basic reading ability to understand instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Demonstrated reliability with regular and punctual attendance.
  • Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and food safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, but hours will be mostly during production hours (daytime).
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions efficiently without loss of quality.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize production trays, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by production staff.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables properly and assist with general kitchen cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • Work with Production to assist with tasks when the dishes are complete.
