About The Position

Caliber Fleet Solutions is hiring an Auto Shop Helper to perform general duties that support the production shop and help teammates complete repairs in a timely manner. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness and order of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assisting with spray booth cleaning, and returning tools and equipment to their proper locations. The role also involves keeping parking lots and grounds neat and orderly and performing minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper must follow Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and service center procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings, including background and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks.
• Must be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping in the interior production area, including emptying waste cans and sweeping floors.
• Dispose of unwanted parts.
• Assist with cleaning spray booths.
• Place tools and equipment in their proper locations.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary.
• Follow Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures.
